World of Warcrafthas officially confirmed a third specialization is coming to the Evoker class for Dracthyr in the next patch inDragonflight. This not only adds more versatility to the playstyles available to the new class, but sets a great precedent for futureWorld of Warcraftcontent.
Over the past few months,World of Warcraftplayers have discovered evidence that Evokers were getting a third specialization. In-game hints, datamined spells and quests, andevasive answers fromWorld of Warcraftdeveloperssuggested Blizzard was working on something for the newDragonflightclass.

Now, it seems those rumors have been confirmed. In a recent blog post teasing what is to come inDragonflightPatch 10.1.5,World of Warcraftconfirmed Dracthyr are getting a third specializationcalled Augmentation. This unique DPS specialization uses Black and Bronze Dragonflight magic in tandem to bolster allies, throwing out buffs as they use their own damaging abilities.
According to the blog post, many of these Evoker abilities have automatic, proximity-based targeting that can be manually overwritten. This means players can throw buffs to nearby allies automatically as they focus on fighting the enemy, or they can target specific allies to enhance. This new specialization will be available when the Fractures in Time update goes live in a few months.World of Warcraftfans can expect to learn more about this new Evoker specialization over the next few weeks–especially once it is made available on the Public Test Realm. Hopefully, this new addition means Blizzard may add more options to other classes in the future, like a third specialization forDemon Hunters inWorld of Warcraft.
