Prior to its official reveal duringBethesda’s E3 2017 press conference,Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossuswas shown as having several strange and unsettling television shows within its alternate history of a Nazi-occupied America in the 1960s era. Now, the aforementioned publisher and the developer MachineGames have teamed up to put out yet another bizarre trailer for the forthcoming first-person shooter featuring a fake live-action TV program calledBlitzmensch.

As seen below in the latest trailer forWolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, fans can get a look atBlitzmenschand its artistic styles taking cues from Adam West’sBatman, with the titular character and his partner Fräulein Fox fighting against what the Nazis consider to be threats – that is, “capitalism, communism, and degenerates.” After the faux TV show’s put on display, fans that stick around will also get a look at some gameplay of the protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz mowing down bad guys by using dual-wielded weaponry.

In addition to theBlitzmenschfootage, Bethesda and MachineGames have also unveiled extended looks at several of the previously noted alternate history television programs withinWolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. For instance, one video the publisher and developer released a while back focused ona Nazi sitcom calledTrust in Brother, while another centered around a rather disturbing game show calledGerman… Or Else!

Taking all of this into account, sinceWolfenstein 2: The New Colossus' marketing campaign is decidedly eccentric with a dash of dark humor, it looks as if fans should expect the game itself to be this way as well. After all, the game’s E3 2017 trailer alone had enough off-the-wall materials like time travel, gigantic Nazi robots, and even a cartoon chameleon created out of thin air from an LSD trip to make a case thatWolfenstein 2: The New Colossuswon’t be a standard first-person shooter.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossusis set to release on June 18, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
