Chris Pratt’s The Terminal List Is Going To Have A Very Different Season 2

It’s been confirmed thatThe Terminal Listseason 2 will not be following the same storyline as the book series of the same name. As of writing, there are 8 books inThe Terminal Listseries.

Speaking withPeople, however, author and series co-creatorJack Carr explained how events inThe Terminal List’s second book,True Believer, can’t be adapted. Events Reece prevents in the book later happened in real life, making it impossible to adapt them. He also spoke about the challenging limits of TV as a medium when crafting the upcoming narrative:

We can’t follow it because some things that I wrote about in the book actually came true [in real life], and in the book, the character prevents them from happening. So there are some mandatory changes like that, and then there’s other ones because you have constraints obviously with time and all those other things.

It’s much [more] different than writing a book [where] I have no constraints. I can do anything I want, and here you have a lot of constraints. So, it’s really interesting those two kind of different mediums.
