Fallout 4has been out for long enough, so the time has come to start discussing the finer points of the game. I hope you’ve consultedJordan’s companions guide, and have located all 13 characters to accompany on your travel. I’m going to kick things off with my personal favorite — Nick Valentine. Sure he’s a bit of a softie, and far too nice to the player right off the bat, but he’s also a badass. I really dig the fact that he’s a synth that was thrown out as a “defect,” with a chip on his shoulder. Also, he’s fairly useful from a pragmatic standpoint, and I love how he tracks or otherwise tries to explain the Mysterious VATS Stranger.
