Solo Leveling’s Next Season Will Get Into the Series' Major Plot Points

In a season filled with masterful moments, none were able to outshine the climactic final battle of the Jeju Island arc, which saw the introduction of Jinwoo’s newest shadow soldier, Beru. Fans ofSolo Leveling’s source material will be happy to say that Beru has long been a favorite character, and whenever the anime returns, the community will be able to see quite a bit of him. Season Two left off around chapter #111 of the manhwa, of which there are 177 chapters before the final battle wraps up, and then an extra 20 or so covering the epilogue. It’s become popular for anime series to adapt arcs into films, but unless the series goes down that route, fans can expect at least two more seasons to come.Solo Leveling’snext outing will most likely coverthe remainder of the Recruitment mini-arc up to the International Guild Conference arc.

This way, there will still be enough material for a fourth season to take its time on the battles with the Monarchs. If they want to utilize the increased resources of a film production, fans might just be treated toSolo Levelinglike they’ve never seen before.

Solo Leveling Season Three Will Really Set the Series In Motion

Major Developments Will Be Coming Soon

ThoughSolo Leveling’s first two seasons have been a massive success, the overarching story hasn’t quite revealed its secrets yet. The final episode began to drop its first hints, however, revealing two major upcoming villains. The Beast and Frost Monarchs appeared on Jeju Island as a clean-up team was scanning the scene of the battle, and with a wave of the monsters' hands, the entire group of A-Rank hunters were put down. They then mentioned they could sense “his” power.

The power in question is undoubtedly Jinwoo’s, though the anime didn’t quite reveal why they were looking for it. The Frost Monarch then said he couldn’t believe the power was used to defend humans. Before the episode ended, the shot zoomed out to reveal Jinwoo’s father overlooking the mysterious Monarchs, also hinting towards his greater involvement in the unfolding mysteries. The upcoming season will finally explain the origins of Jinwoo’s abilities,as well as the roles Monarchs and Rulers play in the series.
