What does the Energy Drink do in PEAK?

True to how its real-life counterpart can sometimes give you a second wind, drinking energy drinks inPEAKallows you to gain a 20 to 30-second speed boost. Once the effect ends, you will then be afflicted with a substantial amount of Sleepiness, which will limit your maximum stamina.

The debuff will stay active for either a few seconds or until a restoring or healing item is consumed. When you’re in the late portions of your run, havinga Cure-all at handcan also allow you to quickly fend off the side effects.

Keep in mind that while under the effects of the drink, your energy will be consumed as if your character is unboosted. So there’s no need to worry about burning through your stamina reserves during long climbs.

How to get Energy Drinks in PEAK

You can get Energy Drinks inPEAKby opening any type of luggage within the four biomes. However, unlike rarer items like the Pirate’s Compass or the game’s many once in a climb Mythical finds, the cans are extremely common even while on the Shore.

Do any other items boost your speed in PEAK?

To put it simply, the Energy Drink is the only consumable capable of providing any kind of speed boost inPEAK. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t any alternatives for it, as the infinite stamina given by the Big Lollipop can be just as game-changing, although its Sleepiness side-effect is even more severe.
