The agent each player chooses at the start of a matchdictates the skillset availableto them, on top of the guns purchased during each round. These unique abilities have a large range of effects, including mobility, denying or gaining information on player locations, or even area of effect damage, and can alter the flow of the battle.

In particular, it was revealed that the development team plans to release two new episodes each year, with each episode comprised of three acts each. Each act is planned to be roughly two months apart and come with the release of a new agent. Reyna is considered to be the agent released alongside episode 1 act 1.
