While one of the last major updates toUncharted 4: A Thief’s Endfixed aranked multiplayer issueinvolving some player progress from the previous season continually resetting, this time around, Naughty Dog is set to provide a patch to the game mode in the action-adventure title that will bring about a lot of new materials, including assets from the forthcoming spin-offThe Lost Legacy. In order to show fans what’s coming to the fourth entry in the franchise’s multiplayer, the developer has released a brand new trailer detailing the update’s wares.
As seen below in Naughty Dog’s trailer forUncharted 4: A Thief’s End, players should expect to receive the update on Jun 22, 2025, which happens to be the same day thatThe Lost Legacylaunches, and it will include new multiplayer skins for Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, as well as the new villain Asav as a playable character. Not to mention, the update will also add a new mode titled Survival Arena that incorporates over 100 new waves of new enemy types, new Siege zones, a new wave modifier, along with the chance to unlock new Savage Starlight Skeleton skins.
For those unaware, the update forUncharted 4will also be available to those who buyUncharted: The Lost Legacy, as the new game includes the full multiplayer suite of the original, with players of both games being able to fight together on the same servers. So while the forthcoming titlewon’t feature Nathan Drakeper se, he can at least be reunited with Chloe and Nadine in a way through the title’s multiplayer format.
All things considered, it will be interesting to see whether or not the addition of some ofThe Lost Legacy’s elements inUncharted 4will spur owners of the Nathan Drake-centric title into purchasing the game with Chloe and Nadine as the lead characters. Of course, there will surely be a lot of fans who don’t need additional incentive to buyUncharted: The Lost Legacy, asthe length of the main portion of gameplaycould offer plenty to do within its own rights.
