Charity streams are nothing new, but it is not often that a streamer can raise almost $400k in a single stream. However, that is exactly what popularTwitchstreamer and content creator Asmongold achieved in the effort to help victims of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.The whopping sum of money was raised bydonations from viewers during Asmongolds' charity stream on March 25th, 2022 in support of the humanitarian organization known as the Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere. The streamer managed to earn the CARE charity a huge total of $391,000, exceeding the targets he had set for the stream. This amount represents the largest sum of money that Asmongold has ever been able to raise during a charity stream.
At the end of the stream, theTwitchstreamer said, “I did not expect that we were going to get anywhere near this. We took all of this money together.” Speaking about hisweapon level onLost Arkand how the money could be usedhe jokingly continued, “I could almost get my weapon to +20 inLost Ark,but unfortunately it’s gonna go to a good cause. All of this money that we have raised today is going to be going towards CARE, so they can allocate those resources to people in need in Ukraine. Thank you all so much, thank you everybody for doing this and making this possible.” Asmongold then took to Twitter to thank all of those who donated to the worthy cause and help those in need.
It wasn’t just Asmongold that contributed to the charity. Fellow OTK member Nick “Nympol” Polom also raised over $130,000 in a charity stream of his own on March 16th, 2022, with the help of girlfriend Malena andanother OTK member Emiru, taking the total raised by the gaming organization OTK to upwards of $500,000.
Asmongold was one of the founding members of the OTK organization back in 2020, OTK standing for One True King. The Organization contains a number of well-known streamers including Esfand, Rich Campbell, Tips Out, Tectone, Nympol andnot forgetting Mizkif and Emiru.
The organization has a history of philanthropy. One True King has held several charity streams benefiting the non-profit organization Games for Love. Their first charity stream took place on August 04, 2025, raising over $250,000 throughopening rarePokemoncards. A second and third charity stream for Games for Love took place raising nearly a staggering $1.2 million combined.
