Tribes of Midgardhas released a major free update that introduces a new biome, a new Saga quest, farming gameplay, and plenty of other content.Tribes of Midgardplayers may notice an impressive number of other improvements, such as new crafting recipes, in-game challenges, and enemies, along with lots of quality-of-life features requested by the community.

Tribes of Midgardis a unique combination of influences with hints of isometric action RPG gameplay, survival crafting elements, and increasingly challenging tower defense waves. With a variety of fast-paced modes that can be tackled either co-op or solo, the game is appreciated by its players for condensing many aspects of their favorite games into short bursts of satisfying progression. So-calledsurthrival inTribes of Midgardinvolves players exploring various biomes for resources to craft more powerful equipment to defend against growing hordes of enemies each night, which gives developers plenty of room to expand the game with new content.

The Witch Saga update forTribes of Midgardexpands the game heavily in virtually every area, bringing the frigid region of Niflheim into the game with its own enemies and rewards. The eponymous Witch Saga quest sends players to Niflheim where they’ll take on the witch Hel in one of the game’s most challenging encounters so far. The update also debutsfarming gameplay, allowing players to farm chosen ingredients by planting Essences. These ingredients will come in handy thanks to an assortment of new recipes, including new consumable meals and equipment like the legendary Hel Warscythe and Hel Armor Set.

Tribes of Midgardwill also be joining othergames with crossplay supportwith this update so players across Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox Live can seamlessly play together. Some community-requested features have made it into the game as well such as a new Quest Board station, several stations that allow players to customize their characters while in-game, and facial hair has been given its own customization option separate from hairstyles and faces. A Challenges tab is now available in-game so that players can claim rewards as soon as they complete a challenge.
