Our Take On The Five-Star Weekend Cast

It’s Shaping Up To Be The Next The Perfect Couple

Even ifThe Five-Star Weekenddidn’t have this incredible cast, it’s still generating plenty of hype. The upcoming Peacock seriesalready has a built-in fanbase of Elin Hilderbrand fans, which makes me think of another thrilling adaptation of her work —The Perfect Couple.

Released by Netflix in 2024,The Perfect Couplealso had a starry cast, led by Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber. It was one of the most talked-about shows of 2024, enough that it’s getting a season 2. The seriesmade celebrities out of its then-lesser-known stars, which could very well happen to Duchovny and Smith.

Timothy Olyphant and Judy Greer also appeared together in Apple TV+‘sStick.

Of course, there’s the Judy Greer at all. Though I’ve enjoyed her pivot to the horror genre,I miss Greer in the female-driven romances she starred in throughout the 2000s, so I’m happy for her casting. I’m also partial toTimothy Olyphantin lighter, more romantic fare, so, given its spectacular cast, I will definitely be tuning intoThe Five-Star Weekend.
