Here are your results from tonight’s WWE Raw for August 06, 2025:

Seth Rollins Gets The Last Laugh Again

“The Visionary” Once Again Stood Tall

Despite being the third wheel in the Roman Reigns/CM Punk/Paul Heyman’s “favor” storyline,Rollins once gain stood tall over both men to close out the show. The choice to have Rollins smack Reigns in the back with a steel chair (a direct callback to when he betrayed Reigns to break up The Shield over a decade ago) was also a nice touch, as it shows Rollins is once again outplaying Reigns in terms of strategy.

Not letting Punk get any time on the microphone on the go-home episode of WrestleMania feels like an odd choice. But after everything we’ve seen between Punk and Heyman over the last few weeks, it’s clear that WrestleMania will merely be the starting point for a much bigger story rather than some sort of conclusion.

El Grande Americano Shines Again

If you told me at the start of the year that Chad Gable would be one of the most entertaining aspects ofWWE Rawwhile pretending to be a luchador, I would have called you crazy. But as goofy as the idea is, it’s actually working.

Watching Gable take out the entire LWO with a “loaded” mask was a fun visual and WWE has given the gimmick enough momentum to where having him beat Mysterio at WrestleMania feels like a real possibility. No matter what happens this weekend in Las Vegas, I hope this isn’t the end of Gable’s time with lucha libre.

A Lukewarm “Go-Home” Show

Surprisingly Little Happened In Front Of The Sacramento Crowd

This week’sWWE Rawtouched on everyWrestleMania 41match featuring talent from the Red Brand in some form or fashion. But outside the show-closing segment, there wasn’t much to help build excitement for this weekend.

None of the women involved in the Women’s World Championship match appeared in front of the live crowd, nor did The War Raiders and New Day (even though the latter team was shown to be in the building). Both Jey Uso and Gunther delivered promos we’ve heard before and the LWO vs. American Made storyline touched on the same story beats as the last few weeks. Were it not for Rollins, Reigns, Heyman, and Punk, this felt like the same episode ofWWE Rawwe’ve been getting for the past two months. Let’s hope they’re saving the good stuff for WrestleMania.
