Developer Massive Entertainment and publisher Ubisoft have now released the looter shooter sequel,The Division 2.While players are still checking out everything Washington D.C. has to offer, such as acertain hidden side mission, there also appears to be an alligator Easter egg that many may want to check out.

For context, this alligator can be seen in the sewers ofWashington D.C.This Easter egg alludes to old urban myths of residents finding an alligator in their city’s sewer system, with these stories usually concentrated in New York City, the location of the firstDivision.Of course, with the creature showing up inThe Division 2’s Washington D.C., it seems as if the myth persists within other areas of the series' in-game universe.

To find this alligator,Division 2players will want to proceed to West Potomac Park and enter the sewers near 14th/15th street SW and Jefferson Drive SW. Entering the manhole found near Jefferson Drive will allow players to descend into the sewer, follow the path into the area designated below, and can see the alligator through the bars found in the sewer. The only visible portion of the alligator will be the tail, so players should keep their eyes out.

Once the alligator is found, it’s worth mentioning that this is the extent of the Easter egg.Division 2players can shoot the alligator tail all they wish, but this will not elicit any form of response. It will not crawl away or move, and players cannot get any closer to it than this.

Aside from finding the alligator Easter egg, there is lots more to do in Ubisoft’sThe Division 2, and there is plenty more coming. Details concerning the looter shooter’s forthcoming8-player raidrecently leaked, with the Operation Dark Hours raid containing 11 steps, having 4 achievements/trophies tied to it, and unlocking 1 special mission once completed. With the abundance of content upon release, it seems fair to say that Massive Entertainment is devoted to not repeating the sins of the past.

The Division 2is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
