Dead by Daylighthas plenty of original monsters and killers, but the game has really made a name for itself through its crossovers with horror icons likeA Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddy Krueger andHalloween’s Michael Myers. However, the nextDead by Daylightcrossover is one of its most exciting yet, as it’s been confirmed thatDead by Daylightwill be getting aStranger Thingsexpansion in September.

An exact release date for theDead by DaylightStranger Thingsexpansion hasn’t been nailed down, but we know what it will include.Dead by Daylightplayers can look forward to a new killer in the form of The Demogorgon, plus two new survivors - Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington. TheDead by DaylightStranger ThingsDLC also includes Hawkins National Laboratory: The Underground Complex, which will give fans of the hit Netflix show the chance to explore one of its most infamous locations.

This isn’t the first timeStranger Thingshas made its way into the world of video games. There are a number of officially-licensedStranger Thingsgames on the market, plus some upcoming projects like aPlayStation VR-exclusive based on the show.

As forDead by Daylight, theStranger ThingsDLC is just the latest expansion that the asymmetric multiplayer horror game has gotten this year. Previously,Ghostface fromScreamwas added to the mix, and the game also received some content based onAsh vs. Evil Dead.

TheDead by Daylight Stranger Thingsexpansion is sure to boost the game’s popularity. After all, the Netflix show is one of the most popular and most-watched shows in the world right now, so it stands to reason that some fans of it may decide to check outDead by Daylight. More people playing the game means that the developers at Behaviour Interactive have added incentive to make even more DLC, so we expectDead by Daylightto be supported with new content for quite some time.

Dead by Daylightis out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A Switch version will launch on September 24 and a mobile version is also in development.
