This might be the final gameplaytrailer for the upcomingStory of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, which is due to release in the west next month. But while most farming simulators tend to be the same, tasking the player with tending to crops, raising livestock, and marrying a villager, it looks likeStory of Seasonswill be adding a number of innovative activities to its upcoming title to keep it interesting.

It’s already known that players will get to build their farm from the ground up inPioneers of Olive Town, and the game will betaking a page fromAnimal Crossing: New Horizons' book with much more crafting and designing involved this time around. However, it looks like players will have much more freedom when it comes to designing clothes and furniture as well, and allowing them to place the items anywhere on their farm.
Pets are also getting a littlebit more spotlight inStory of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. Players will be able to play fetch with their pups and get to know their animals more than just petting them once per day. Events featuring dog races will also take place in Olive Town, as well as other mini-games where players can likely earn rewards.
Story of Seasonswill also be drawn back to its fantasy roots with Earth Sprites, which can help players discover new locations such as by sprouting a giant beanstalk and allowing the player to plant a farm high in the sky.
