Although it’s very clear that these players warrant banning for their actions, it’s likely going to be a few days before the reports pile up enough for DICE or EA to do anything about them. At the moment, even turning off in-game chat isn’t enough to avoid seeing spoilers, makingBattlefront 2unplayable for many of its fan-base.

WithStar Wars Battlefront 2’sThe Last JediDLClaunching recently, players have access to free brand new content themed around the movie. Although the add-on doesn’t contain any spoilers for the film itself, the players involved are another story. The DLC does come with two new heroes, however, in the form of Finn and Captain Phasma, as well as a new map set on a planet inThe Last Jedi.

This new incident is just one more controversy surrounding EA’sStar Wars Battlefrontseries, which was currently redeeming itself in the eyes of the fans after announcing thatmicrotransactions may not come backat all. At least this time it’s not possible to blame the issues on the developer, but it’s certain that DICE needs to immediately take action against these online trolls before its userbase takes a larger hit.
