The next Splatfest forSplatoon 3will answer one of the most challenging questions that plaguePokemon trainerswith each new generation: which kind of starter-type Pokemon is the best? Ever since the inception of Pokemon withRedandBlue(andGreen), trainers have had to choose between one of three starters, and the types are always the same: Fire, Water, and Grass.

During theSplatoon 3PokemonSplatfest, players must choose the team they want to be on and then compete in Turf War battles to see who comes out victorious at the end of the three-day event. And it makes perfect sense to have thisPokemon-themed Splatfest in early November because one week after the Splatfest, the next generation ofPokemongames will come out,Pokemon ScarletandPokemon Violet.
