It won’t be too much longer until the PlayStation 4 exclusiveSpider-Manofficially releases itsTurf Wars DLC, with the add-on set to drop in a little less than a week from today. Now, Insomniac Games has decided to give fans a look at the handful of new suits it plans on adding to the action-adventure title once the expansion arrives.
As seen in the image below,Spider-Manis set to receive three new outfits for the Wall-Crawler to don as he fights crime across the game’s open world New York City map and takes on the Turf Wars DLC’s main antagonist, Hammerhead. From left to right,Spider-Manfans will be able to get their hands on the Spider Armor MK1 suit, the Spider Clan suit, and the original Iron Spider Armor inspired by the comics. Oddly enough, though, the coloring of the Spider Armor MK1 is black in the lineup of suits below, while it appears silver in-game, as indicated in the picture above.
In addition to the brand new suits,Spider-Man’s Turf Wars DLC will also provide players with some brand new story missions, bases, crimes, challenges, and of course, PS4 Trophies to collect for completing certain feats the game. Those who wish to acquire all of the aforementioned post-launch content can do so by purchasing the entire The City That Never Sleeps pack for $25, which will include Turf Wars, the previously released The Heist, and the upcoming Silver Lining chapter, or they can buy Turf Wars as a standalone piece for $10.
In otherSpider-Manrelated news, the action-adventure title recently scored big after receiving several nominations across multiple categories forThe Game Awards 2018, including Game of the Year. The Web-Slinger is up against stiff competition, however, as Rockstar Games' open world western.Red Dead Redemption 2, and Santa Monica Studio’s action-adventure epic,God of War, also have a chance at taking home the awards ceremony’s biggest prize. At any rate, we will simply have to wait and find out what game takes top honors.
