Moriah & Veronica Were Once Close
“Like Sisters”
Moriah is the second-oldest Plath daughter, but the oldest female Plath sibling to appear in the show. Before Veronica, Moriah was best friends with oldest Plath brother, Ethan’s wife, Olivia Plath, until they had a falling out. After Olivia’s exit from the Plath family, Veronica entered, and Moriah bonded with her.
According to Veronica, the pair were"like sisters,“and they would spend a lot of time doing their makeup together.
Moriah Called Veronica A Liar
Barry Plath Is Also Involved
In the pilot episode ofWelcome to Plathvilleseason 7, Veronica relayed the tense situation that was happening between her and Moriah. Veronica saidMoriah confided in her about the negative aspects of her relationshipwith her now-ex-boyfriend, Matthew Craven, and that she supported Moriah and did her own research about Matthew.
However, Veronica claims Moriah turned on her once she got back with Matthew, and even told her dad, Barry Plath, that Veronica was a liar.
According to Micah, “Moriah tells my dad that certain things Veronica had said weren’t true about Moriah’s ex-boyfriend.”
Veronica believes this situation is causing her to be on the outs with the Plaths in general, and she wants an apology for falsely being called a liar.
The best she’s gotten out of Moriah so far has been a letter from Moriah attempting to apologize.
“I wanted to write you and try my best to say sorry for the way I’ve treated you. It’s hard living with some of the choices I’ve made and the things I’ve done. I don’t trust myself anymore. I’m selfish, and I think of myself more than others, I guess.”
Veronica was not happy about the letter, and even felt that Micah was the one to prompt her to write it. Moreover, she said it was not an apology for calling her a liar. At the end of the episode,Veronica reached out to Oliviavia Facetime so she could get advice on how to handle the current circumstances, being that Olivia went through something similar.
