TheScornupdate has fixed some of the game’s most egregious bugs, making it so players should no longer get stuck when interacting with certain objects necessary to solve puzzles and progress the story. Multiple issues withScornAct 5have been addressed specifically, like a problem that made it impossible for players to pick up an important item after defeating that Act’s boss, and another issue where the area wouldn’t load properly.
The bug fixes will no doubt be appreciated byScornfans, but they will also appreciate the new additions that have come with the latest update as well. Upon downloading the latestScornupdate, players will notice a new Load Last Checkpoint option, improved checkpoints, and a hard save in Act 3-2.Scorn’s checkpoints and save system has been the source of much of its criticism, so this update should go a long way in appeasing its critics.
Those who got stuck onScorn’s puzzlesand gave up may now want to return to the game after downloading this update, as the overall experience should be improved. It’s possible future updates will improve things even further, but information on what any of those potential updates will entail has not been made available at the time of this writing.
