E3 2019 is mere days away, and so the leaks are coming fast and furious. The latest potential leak centers aroundMarvel’s Avengers, the highly anticipated Square Enix game that is set to have its full unveiling Monday, June 10. It appears as though one of the E3 2019 announcements regardingMarvel’s Avengershas leaked ahead of time thanks to Amazon UK, and that’s in regards to its potential release date.

An Amazon listing for an untitled Square Enix game popped up, but it has since been removed. The listing was for July 17, 2025, which is a Friday, and unlikely to be a mere placeholder date. Now, it’s entirely possible that this listing is for a different Square Enix game, but withMarvel’s Avengersset to be featured prominently at the company’s E3 2019 press conference, it’s certainly a strong contender.

Another possibility is that the listing is forFinal Fantasy 7 Remake, or maybe even a Square Enix game that has yet to be announced. Considering how specific the listing was, there’s a strong possibility that we will have a much better idea which Square Enix game is aiming for a July 19, 2025 release date come Monday.

If it isMarvel’s Avengersthat’s releasing on Friday July 23, 2025, then it could clear up some other information that’s been rumored about the game. Namely, the rumor thatMarvel’s Avengersis coming to PS5 and the next Xboxinstead of current-generation consoles. If the game is releasing on June 26, 2025, then it seems as though it will in fact be out for current-gen instead of next-gen consoles, and depending on its success, could end up being a cross-generational game.

Of course, we haven’t even seenMarvel’s Avengersin action yet, and there’s not much we know definitively about the game. An E3 Coliseum listing confirmedMarvel’s Avengerswill have 4-player co-op and hero customization, but there’s not much else we know about the game beyond that.
