Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong on sticky, colored paper
We’ve seenPost-It Note stop-motion animationbefore, but none quite so clean as the above video that reportedly took eleven months and 4,800 Post-Its to make. The stillness of the shots and the transitions between different backgrounds are impressive, adding an eerie quality to the video, according to creator Michael Berkin.
One of the more interesting aspects of the video is that both theMs. Pac-Manportion and theDonkey Kongportion follow actual playthroughs of one level. InMs. Pac-Man, though we only see a small window at any given time, the status of the pellets is tracked throughout, with each accounted for by the end of the segment.
