About a week ago, Capcom gave players anticipating the forthcomingResident Evil 2remake a look atClaire Redfield’s military costume, which will be available to anyone who orders the Deluxe Edition of the game. Now, the publisher and developer has decided to offer glimpses at all of the different costumes that will be available to those who get the special versions of theRE2remake by putting out a fresh video showcasing each cosmetic.
As seen in the brief footage below, those who acquireResident Evil 2’s Deluxe Edition will be privy to five different costumes for the game’s two protagonists, Claire and Leon. In addition to the former’s military garb, she will also receive the Elza Walker costume, and a Noir getup. Leon, on the other hand, only gets two sets of extra duds that come in the form of the Noir costume and the Arklay Sheriff uniform.
For those unaware, Capcom has previously announced the aforementioned costumes coming in theResident Evil 2remake’s Deluxe Edition, and has even gone so far as to confirm theadditional DLC included in the package., but the latest video finally shows the cosmetics in action. Anyone who wishes to splurge on the forthcoming title to get these extra goodies will need to be prepared to spend $70.
Should there beResident Evil 2fans out there who want to really break the bank when it comes to special versions of the upcoming game, then there’s always the$200 Collector’s Editionas well, which comes with all of the costumes from the above video and much more. Then, for players who truly want to go above and beyond in regards to spending money for theRE2remake, then they would do well to try and get their hands on the Japanese Collector’s Edition, whichcosts a whopping $900.
Resident Evil 2is scheduled to release on July 19, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
