The stunning fifth and final episode ofAkiracreator Katsuhiro Otomo’sShort Peaceanthology made its debut on PlayStation 3 in Japan today. I’m all kinds of jealous right now.

A sidescrolling action game,Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Daycomes by way of Grasshopper Manufacture and Namco Bandai, boasting a talented collection of developers, including the likes of Suda 51,Silent Hillcomposer Akira Yamaoka,Tokyo Jungledirector Yohei Kataoka, andFire Emblem: Awakeningillustrator Yusuke Kozaki. Yeah, they’re kind of a big deal.

Still no official word on a localized release, but Namco seems to be entertaining the idea. The publisher’s European divisionregistered a domainfor the title last autumn, so at least there’s hope. Now go make some noise about this lovely-looking game and force the company’s hand.
