Back in September, Sony surprised fans byannouncing the PlayStation Classic, a miniature version of its iconic games console. With 20 pre-loaded titles, the console allows longstanding PlayStation fans to enjoy their favorite games while introducing a handful of classics to those who missed out the first time around.

Sony had kept fans waiting for the full list of PlayStation Classic games and now, the platform holder has come through. With a new trailer, Sony has revealed all 20 games that will come pre-loaded on thePlayStation Classicwhen it launches in December.

The full list of PlayStation Classic games is as follows:

The 20-game list is full of classics and fans seem especially happy to seeMetal Gear SolidandGrand Theft Autoon the list. But there are also some glaring omissions. In particular, some are upset that the PlayStation Classic won’t featureCrash Bandicoot. While theCrashgames have been remastered with theCrash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, fans would love to play the first game in its original glory.

Other games from fan wishlists that haven’t been included areGran Turismo 2,Dino Crisis,Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, andResident Evil. Many had hoped thatCrash Team Racing, a game that wasn’t featured in theN. Sane Trilogy, would be included too.

The games list isn’t the only reason why some have criticized the PlayStation Classic. Shortly after the miniature console was announced, some took issue with the fact that the consolewill not come packaged with an AC adapter. Some fans were also disappointed that the console would include the PlayStation controllers without the analog sticks.

Despite the concerns, the PlayStation Classic is still expected to sell well. The sales of Nintendo’s mini retro consoles show that there is a real interest in this sort of thing. The PlayStation Classic will benefit from that wave of nostalgia but there’s no telling how much more of a success it could be if that games list looked a little different.
