Less than three months after its release,Palworld’sfirst major content update is here bringing with it the first-ever Raid Boss, Bellanoir. The new raid boss can’t be captured but does drop Pal Eggs on defeat. A few new items have been added as well as some overall content additions, bug fixes, and balance changes. New Raid Boss update details and highlights
The main focus of the new update is the first Raid Boss to be added toPalworld, Bellanoir. Players can summon Bellanoir via slabs at a new Summoning Altar. According to the patch notes, the Raid Boss is extremely powerful and cannot be captured. However, defeating the Raid Boss will cause Pal Eggs to drop. There is also an Extreme version of the Raid Boss that developer Pocketpair claims is difficult to defeat.
Several new items have been added including Training Manuals that allow you to grant experience to Pals, an Ancient Technical Manual that gives you Ancient Technology Points, Recovery Meds that slowly recover your HP, a Homeward Thundercloud that teleports you to your nearest base, Ability Glasses that allow you to see Pal’s stats when equipped, new fruits that boost your Pal’s stats when consumed, the Ring of Mercy which makes it so you’re able to’t bring an enemy’s HP under 1, the Multiclimate Undershirt armor that protects you against both extreme heat and cold, an Electric Egg Incubator, and an Ore Mining Site that allows you to produce ores at your own base.
Several quality-of-life, balance adjustments, and bug fixes have already been implemented in this patch.
