A pattern of sorts seems to be forming for those anticipating a simultaneous release of games on the newer Nintendo hardware. Even then, it’s likely that this trend won’t remain steadfast assales of the Switchcontinue to build and prominent third-party studios (like Bethesda) jump onboard to support the platform in a major way.

Bethesda claims that more details on all three of its forthcoming games for Switch will be arriving in the ensuing weeks and months. Given theZeldaamiibo support featured withinSkyrim, it’s possible that the publisher’s other titles will follow suit with some unlockable content of their own. Items like a Samus Aran Power Suit inDOOMimmediately come to mind if additional amiibo content is on the table, but Nintendo will likely tread cautiously with many of the firm’s other properties.
