It feels apparent that this new costume is meant to represent a new status quo for Star-Lord.With a sister falling ill and a father now dead, Peter has been appointed the King of his native Spartax Empire. Some have speculated that it could shiftStar-Lord to become a Marvel villain, but alternatively, it could rechristen him to become even more of a hero.
