WatchingPlayerUnknown’s Battlegroundson Twitch has become a regular pastime for modern gamers. But if we’re being honest, the beginning portions (looting, setup, etc.) aren’t all that exciting. For avid viewers who just want to get to the good stuff, Twitch has added new filtering options.

Now, the streaming service allows filtering ofPUBGstreams by the number of remaining players, with options of more than 50, 25-50, or fewer than 25. This allows viewers to drop into streams that are at least halfway finished. Additionally, there are filters for team games, duos, or solo players as well.

Those are the only filters added so far, but there are plenty of suggestions from Twitch users, such as the ability to search by map or the amount of viewers. Twitch will have to consider these ideas going forward, but here’s hoping the service continues to create new ways for users to customize their viewing sessions.

As for what’s new with PUBG itself, the development team recently disclosed the officialname of the new mapthat’s currently being worked on. Originally given the code name “Savage” when it was available for a brief testing period, the 4x4km island map is now called Sanhok. The name, according to a description in a recent post on Steam, combines the Thai word for fun and the Filipino word for chicken; evidence that the developers have a sense of humor. The reveal of the name came through the PUBG official Twitter, along with news that the map will be returning for testing soon.

It was recently announced that PUBG issuspending personal item trading, after seeing abuse of the system. There was evidence that players were selling items through third party sites, which prompted the temporary stop. However, the market trade function that uses the Steam market system will remain active.
