Xerneas and Yveltal hnnnghh
As we near the impending release ofPokemon XandY, Nintendo has started rolling out more information gradually. Today, we’ve learned that your new mentor will be Professor Augustine Sycamore, who tasks you with filling up your Pokedex with all the Kalos region creatures you can find.
You’ll also have to deal with Team Flare — a mysterious group with unknown motives. The sporty Grant along with the scientific Clemont and his sister Bonnie are confirmed as new gym leaders.
In addition to the new footage above, Xerneas has been confirmed as a Fairy-type Pokemon, and Yveltal has been confirmed as a Dark and Flying type. Newcomers Pangoro (Fighting/Dark), Inkay (Dark/Psychic), Malamar (Dark/Psychic), Swirlix (Fairy), and Spritzee (Fairy) are also revealed in the trailer. I’m liking the designs so far, and the art style looks beautiful in motion, which I’m sure will look even better in 3D.
