Redditor _Vorra shared the post from the officialDisney Dreamlight ValleyTwitter account, which used speech bubble, purple heart, and downward arrow emojis to put out a vague teaser for the game. Fans in the community have allowed their imaginations to run wild, but some of the theories are certainly plausible. One user claimed it could be a tease for Rapunzel, who is top of manyDisney Dreamlight Valleycharacter wish lists. It’s a plausible theory - Rapunzel inTangledwears a purple dress, and the downward arrow could reference the famous quote, “Rapunzel, let down your hair.” Perhaps the most likely theory is the addition of Twitch Drops to the game. It all fits - the speech bubble represents Twitch chat, purple is Twitch’s color, and the downward arrow represents the Drop part of the puzzle.

Disney Dreamlight Valleyhas done Twitch Dropsin the past, so it would certainly make sense for the developer to do so again if it proved a success last time around. This certainly seems to be the theory with the most evidence surrounding it, and it shouldn’t be long until players hear more. Some of the other guesses in the thread seemed to be clear stabs in the dark. One player theorized it could be the confirmed multiplayer mode, although little in the tweet hints toward this.

It seems as though fans of the game have a lot to look forward to in the coming months.Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Early Summer Updateis rumored to be arriving in June, bringing a host of new content to the title for gamers to explore. Developer Gameloft has yet to really discuss exactly what the update will feature, but the 2023 roadmap released earlier in the year could offer some hints as to what is to come to the game.
