Now just a few days away, Spawn looks to be a promising addition to NetherRealm’sMortal Kombat 11. With the character planned for a March 17th release, fans got a first look at the character inSpawn’s gameplay trailer, revealed during Final Kombat 2020 just a few days ago.
Now, however, two of Spawn’s Brutalities have been revealed, showing off some of the ways the character can finish off his opponents.Mortal Kombat11fans will recognize the first one shown in the video, which sees Spawn perform an uppercut that takes off his opponent’s head, ripping out a significant portion of their spine in the process. It’s the classicMortal Kombatbrutality, which is seen pretty frequently.

However, Spawn’s second Brutality is unique to him, and one of the more intense ones inMortal Kombat11.In it, Spawn slams an axe into his opponent’s shoulder, before whipping them around and driving a sword through the back of their head and out their mouth. The head eventually falls off, as Spawn takes a seat on a summoned throne.Spawn’s voice actor Keith Davidis heard saying “Hell’s been waiting for you” as the body slumps to the ground.
For many, Spawn has been the most highly anticipated DLC character in the Kombat Pack. The character is famous for his appearance in multiple comic books, along with a movie, with aSpawnfilm rebootplanned for the future. It’s fair to say that Spawn has a cult following, and it will be interesting to see how well the character is received when he releases.
There’s still plenty on the horizon forMortal Kombat 11,too. Rumors of asecond Kombat Packcontinue to circulate online, raising the question of what other characters could find their way into the fighting game. So far, there’s been a solid balance of original and guest characters added, and it would be great to see that continue into the future.
For now, though, fans will just have to wait and see what Spawn has in store for them. The character is just a few days away, and should help keep theMortal Kombat 11roster feeling fresh.
