Of course, it’s important to note that units shipped isn’t exactly the same as units sold, but it is definitely an indication of the huge amount of popularity surrounding the game.
Prior to this particular triumph forMonster Hunter World, it was already apparent that the game had been experiencing a very successful launch period, especially since it managed to become thefirst PS4 game to break 1 million in first week sales in Japan.
