Here’s a nice-looking new shot to prove it
It’s been quiet enough on theWildfront that I was starting to fear for the game (especially as we’ve been far more focused onBeyond Good & Evil 2as of late), but it seems to be coming along nicely.
On Instagram, designer Michel Ancel shared a new image, one that looks markedly better than thefootage out of Paris Games Weekback in 2015. He also promised to try and post screenshots regularly.
Getting lost in your own game is a great satisfaction . So many landscapes and situations to be discovered . I will try to post regularly some screenshots of the wild . And I promise , I will not spoil the game´s plot ! #ps4 #wild

Wild, to quickly recap, is an open-world game in which you are a shaman who can inhabit animals — an eagle, a rabbit, or a bear, to name just a few. And unless the design has since changed, you can visit other players’ worlds and try to blend in with the AI to screw with your unsuspecting prey. The possibilities for unscripted hijinks are exciting, as is the chance to just roam the wilderness.
All told, I’m really looking forward to this one. I get the sense thatWildis far off (I’d be pleasantly surprised to see it come out this year), but regular updates will help make that wait feel manageable.
