PlayStation Plus Premium adds a trial forMarvel’s Midnight Sunsto its catalog, letting fans play it for up to two hours at no extra cost. Players should note that this timer will begin as soon as they start the game, and users must close the application for it to stop counting down.Marvel’s Midnight Sunsfeatures a day-night cycle where players go on missions during the day, but they can otherwise choose to spend their time in several different ways. Unlike thePersonaseries, time doesn’t pass when performing actions, allowing users to complete all the optional content for that day before going to sleep.
Users can spend time training party members, upgrading abilities, uncovering the many mysteries surrounding the home base known as the Abbey, or simply hanging out with theirfavorite Marvel character. There are even different clubs for users to join, each offering more backstory and unique interactions between the cast.
While two hours may be enough to form an early opinion on the gameplay mechanics and features,Marvel’s Midnight Sunsis a story-driven gamewith a ton of cutscenes in the beginning. It also takes a while forMidnight Sunsto fall into a rhythm where players are performing their daily tasks in addition to going on missions with their favorite Marvel heroes, so the long intro may be too slow for some players. Still, the two-hour PS Plus trial will help users get a hands-on experience withMarvel’s Midnight Suns.
