Players get a taste of Iron Man’s capabilities in the tutorial forMarvel’s Midnight Suns, but even this is a mere appetizer for the main course. Tony Stark with a properly optimized deck can wipe out an entire battlefield with moves and cards to spare for the rest of the squad.

Keep in mind that this is only an opinion based on experience inMarvel’s Midnight Suns. The game can be beaten on the hardest difficulties with many builds for this particular hero, this is just an effective way to do it. Players who have other preferences and experience success should feel perfectly validated with their decisions.

Apply 2 Marked and 2 Vulnerable. Redraw to add “Nearby enemies gain 2 Marked”.

The only drawback of this deck is that Iron man is not a good character forgenerating Heroism. While he does have some support abilities like Mark Target+, used in this deck, his primary job is to clear the board of villains. And he does it better than anyone.

Air Superiority+, when thecard is upgraded, can be redrawn twice for extra power. If players have built the decks correctly for their whole party, redraws tend to be wasted, so it’s no big deal to use them to enhance this ability that wipes out the entire board with the exception of a boss. Even bosses will take more than enough damage to justify building an entire strategy around Air Superiority+.

For even more power in combat, modding these cardsrequires a bit of luck for an ideal advantage, but any boost at all can’t hurt.

Marvel’s Midnight Sunsis available now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
