Commodities inManor Lordsare processed goods that become essential for appeasing settlers in the later stages of a campaign. With one exception, all commodities can only be crafted by upgrading the backyard extension of alevel 2 burgage plot.
As goods that require skilled labor, commodities are always in-demand exports that can betraded away for a profit. However, as valuable goods, players will need to purchase a major trade route before traders will be willing to visit.

How to Get Raw Materials for Commodities in Manor Lords
Commodities are made by processing raw materials and resources obtained by the player. Here are all the resources needed to make commodities and how to get them inManor Lords:
How to Get
Dyes
Build a Dyer’s Workshop (2 Timber) to convert Berries into Dyes. Berries can be obtained by building a Forager’s Hut near berry deposits.
Yarn
Build a Weaver’s Workshop (4 Timber) and provide the workers with Wool, which will be processed into Yarn. Wool can beobtained from Sheep.
Linen
Build a Weaver’s Workshop (4 Timber) and provide the workers with Flax, which will be processed into Linen.
Malt
Process Barley using a Malthouse (4 Timber) to get Malt. Start aBarley farmto get Barley.
Leather
Build a Tannery (4 Timber) to convert hides into Leather. Hides are obtained by hunting or trapping animals via the Hunting Camp or building the Goat Shed Backyard extension (25 Regional Wealth).
Wax
Unlock the Advanced Beekeeping development node to unlock Wax. Build an Apiary (2 Planks) toget Honey and Wax.
