Trading is the sole means of earning money inLightyear Frontier. But how can you sell items or purchase goods on a planet where you’re the only human? While there are no other residents around, you can invite visiting vendors to your farm and trade with them. To do so, you must construct a landing spot for their spaceships to descend and depart without issues. If that sounds complicated, use this guide tocraft your first Merchant Landing and start tradinglike a professional intergalactic trader.
How to Buy and Sell Items
To access trading inLightyear Frontier,you must craft a Merchant Landing. After completing a couple ofearly-game missions, this structure is found under the Essentials tab in the Constructs menu. Once you have a Merchant Landing, Lola — the trader — will visit your farm every day to sell items or buy goods. Lolareturns to your planet every morning,but leaves by the early afternoon of the same day. To trade with her, toggle between the Sell and Buy menu using the Q and E buttons (or LB and RB on Xbox).
You canbuy Seeds, Sprouts, and Spare Parts for the Mechfrom Lola. She is open to buying anything you find on the planet or craft on your farm, though selling her all your inventory items is not a good idea.
The Marchant’s inventory is updated periodically. Make certain to revisit her shop toavoid missing out on profitable deals.

In order to get Red Crystal, you must restore the Pine Heights region. Do so by removing all the Noxious Slime found in the region. (Cleanse the red spots with the Irrigation Hose.)
