Jump Forcehas a huge roster featuring some of the most recognizable characters in anime history, including Monkey D. Luffy fromOne Piece, Goku fromDragon Ball, and Naruto. WhileJump Force’s launch roster is plenty impressive, the game is expanding in May with its first batch of DLC characters, including the recently revealed All Might fromMy Hero Academia.
Bandai Namco has officially announced All Might forJump Force. All Might’s addition to theJump Forceroster seems to prove prior speculation that the game’s DLC would largely look to better-represent anime series that only have one character in the game so far, as the first DLC character isSeto Kaiba fromYu-Gi-Oh!
All Might is the secondMy Hero Academiacharacterto be featured on theJump Forceroster. The first is Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, who is the main character of the popular anime and manga series. InMy Hero Academia, Deku actually inherits his “One for All” quirk from All Might, and so the two seem as though they will match together well in the fighting game.
No footage of All Might inJump Forcehas been released so far, but Bandai Namco has revealed some screenshots that show he will retain his fighting style from theMy Hero Academiaanime. It’s unclear at this point if All Might will ever revert to his frail form in any cut-scenes or even during battle, as he does in the show, or if he will be in his powered-up form the entire time inJump Force.
With All Might and Seto Kaiba confirmed asJump Force’s first DLC characters, fans of the game are left to wonder who will be the next addition to the roster. Perhaps yet anotherMy Hero Academiacharacter will join the fray, like Bakugo, or maybeJump Forcewill add a secondBlack Clovercharacter instead. Whatever the case may be, fans should find out more in the coming weeks.
Jump Forceis out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
