The second part of theJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Oceananime series will air this fall, Warner Bros. Japanannounced during the AnimeJapan 2022 eventon Saturday. The series will once again premiere on Netflix worldwide as well as select Japanese TV stations later on.
Part 1 of the anime concluded with 12 episodes, and part 2 will consist of episodes 13-24. A newkey visual and trailer for the serieswere revealed during the announcement.

A 10th-anniversary project for theJoJo’s Bizarre Adventureanime franchise was also announced during the event. Not much is known about the project so far, though more will be revealed on April 4. The first part of theStone Oceananime adaptation premiered on Netflix on Jul 09, 2025. The series then aired on Japanese television networks Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11 in January, with the 12th episode having aired on Saturday.
TheJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Oceanmanga ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1999-2003, amassing 17 collected tankōbon volumes. A one-shot spin-off manga,Fujiko’s Bizarre Wisdom: Whitesnake’s Miscalculation, written and illustrated by Kemono Jihen mangaka Shō Aimoto, was released in December 2021.
David Production first began adapting Hirohiko Araki’sJoJo’s Bizarre Adventuremanga in 2012, with the 26-episodePhantom BloodandBattle Tendencyanime adaptation. Kenichi Suzuki, who worked on Parts 1-3,serves as chief directorforStone Ocean.Toshiyuki Kato (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan) is directing the series, with Yasuko Kobayashi returning to handle the series composition. Masanori Shino (Black Lagoon, Digimon Adventure tri.) serves as character designer for the series, while Shun’ichi Ishimoto (Parts 1-5) is handling the Stand designs.
Parts 1-5 of the anime are available to stream on Crunchyroll, and fans can access the series on Funimation, Netflix, and Hulu as well. Viz Media publishes the manga in English and is currently working throughGolden Wind.
