Superbrothers' is hoping that JETT will be an inspirational and groundbreaking type game. The developer is attempting to give players the same type of feeling that they may have had with mid-’90s games and the idea of transitioning to 3D exploration. For the game to be able to match the potential that the developer believes it has, it simply needs more time. The major factor for the delay seems to beCOVID-19, as countless games have been pushed backdue to the pandemic and the indie developer notes that “hectic times” are the reason for the setback.
JETT has gone from this tiny little secret thing, to this full blown international conspiracy, and now to this very for-real project that theoretically millions of people have sorta heard of. What a ride.

Hopefully, the additional time in development will help it improve.
