There’s only one reason forHigh Potentialto conceal the identity of Phifer’s character: if he’s meant to be a big twist.

High Potentialhas never even described Roman’s appearance, meaning he could be anyone. Yet, despite his character being shrouded in mystery, Mekhi Phifer fits the bill of Morgan’s first love. He’s only one year older than Kaitlin Olson, placing him in the correct age range, while younger photos of Mekhi Phifer bear a believable resemblance to Ava’s actress, Amirah J.

Roman Won’t Seamlessly Re-Enter Morgan’s Life

Even the limitations to Phifer’s upcomingHigh Potentialrole could support him being Roman. Rather than portraying a series regular,Phifer is listed as a recurring guest star, meaning his episode count is limited.
