Players new to the world ofHades 2might be confused about how things work afteryou fail (or complete) a runand how The Crossroads works (the area between The Underworld and The Surface. The first time you die inHades 2, which is pretty much guaranteed to happen without any unlocks, you’ll end up at The Crossroads. There’s a strange cauldron in the middle of the area, but it seems that players can’t use it to ‘Concoct’ until later on.

To Concoct and use the cauldron inHades 2,you’ll need to return to The Crossroads after your second run. Melinoe will comment that the pot can now be used with a tap of the right bumper (or the associated keypad). At first, you’ll only have a couple of options to unlock, but more will appear as you progress further into the underworld to defeat Chronos.

As you keep playingHades 2and unlock Incantations, more Incantations for purchase will appear at the Cauldron,allowing Melinoe to alter the gameplay further. There’s also an Incantation that allows you to grow crops at The Crossroads to earn materials and resources.
Players should have picked up Moly on their first run through the underworld, so the first thing to unlock should be the Night’s Craftwork, which will let players unlock the gathering tools, like the Crescent Pick, Tablet of Peace, Silver Spade,and the Rod of Fishing. The former will probably be the first thing to unlock, as it only requires an Ash to make –this will let you gather items like Silver from mineral deposits during a run ofHades 2.
