How to unlock the Tempus Torrent DMR inMW2andWarzone 2.0
TheMW2andWarzone 2.0Tempus Torrent DMR is one of the best new weapons to arrive in theseCall of Dutygames. Instantly a fan-favorite of the marksman rifle category due to its unmatched speed and strength, it is now available for players to unlock inSeason 2 Reloaded.
If you are ready to take the plunge into making this your new primary loadout weapon, there are two main ways to unlock it. The first is a free method that doesn’t require you to spend any currency or real world money to earn it.
If you like saving money, then you’ll have to complete a special Season 2 Reloaded challenge before the current season ends. This mission tasks players with earning 25 double kills withany marksman rifle.
This is a fairly tough task as you essentially need to get 50 kills. Double kills involve eliminating one player, followed immediately by the next within a small time frame. Each time you get a double kill, the game will notify you at the top of the screen.
You have to do this 25 times and, worst still, it only counts with a marksman rifle. You can use any of the existing DMRs for this task. I suggest pulling up to Shipment or another close-quarters map and finding a nice vantage point to pick off enemies as they spawn.
Alternatively, if you are able to find the Tempus Torrent in DMZ, you may unlock this way. If you locate the DMR in the DMZ game mode and extract while wielding it, you will permanently unlock the gun.
How to instantly unlock the Tempus Torrent DMR
The other main method of unlocking theMW2andWarzone 2.0Tempus Torrent DMR is to head to the in-game store. The store will have a bundle in the future that features an exclusive weapon blueprint version of the new marksman rifle. It isn’t currently available at the launch of Season 2 Reloaded.
If you purchase this bundle there, you’ll get the weapon blueprint and other goodies in the pack. More importantly, though, you’ll also instantly unlock the Tempus Torrent for use in your loadout and every game mode from there on out.
This is helpful for those who have someCoDPoints they’re not using for anything else. This method doesn’t require you to waste time with guns you might not want to use and immediately be able to grind the Tempus Torrent before some other players are able to.
