How to get a Rocket Start in Mario Kart World
To get a Rocket Start inMario Kart World, wait until the countdown timer appears and wait for the number “2” to appear.The moment it appears, wait until thesplit second before the number 2 fades, and hold down the A button. If you hold the A button all the way until the end of the countdown, your character should perform a successful Rocket Start.
If you hold the A button down too early or too soon, then either the Rocket Start won’t happen at all, or your car will stall, putting you further behind the competition for unsuccessfully completing the Boost Start.
