Getting assists inMarvel Rivalsis quite tricky. You may snag a few, but they might just be counted as an elimination, increasing your overall K/D.
In the fifth part of the Midnight Features event, you have to “secure 100 Assists” in one of the core modes of the game, so here’s what you need to know.
What is an assist inMarvel Rivals?
To start, an assist inMarvel Rivalsis counted as using an ability to help one of your teammates get a kill. Whether it’s healing or some kind of buff, it’ll count as an assist.
However, if you contribute direct damage to taking down an opponent, but don’t get the Final Hit, it’ll count as a KO.
How to get assists inMarvel Rivals
To get assists, you’ll have to use characters who play a more passive role in damage rather than using a Duelist (DPS). The only one in this role who can get consistent assists is Storm.
Other than that,you’ll more likely want to use a Strategist (support) character to get this challenge done.
How to quickly get assists inMarvel Rivals
The best character to get assists with inMarvel RivalsisRocket Raccoon. It’s time to learn a new role other than being a DPS who dives in and blames the team for a loss because you don’t want to switch.
As Rocket, you’ll want to stay at advantageous angles where you can heal your teammates from afar. His healing isn’t as potent as Luna Snow or Mantis, but he can provide long-ranged, consistent healing all while having tools to escape and revive allies.
If you play as Rocket and spam your Repair Mode (alt fire) at your allies, you’ll snag so many assists in one match.
He’s also one of the better healers to rack a bunch of assists with because of that long-ranged healing. Rocket can provide healing to flankers, flying characters, and up-close fighters like Wolverine, Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, Iron Man, Storm, Black Panther, and the Hulk.
Other supports can do the trick, but he’s more consistent than any others since you can just spam heals and still be a valuable teammate.
