The day manyMortal Kombat 11fans have been waiting for is finally here as the highly anticipatedAftermath expansion is now available. In a first for the franchise,Aftermathadds in an expanded narrative that picks up after the events of the base game, featuring the likes of Shang Tsung, Raiden, Sindel, and plenty of mainstay characters fans have come to expect. A free update to the game also adds in Friendships and two classic stages reimagined for the latest game in this long running series.
In addition to all of the content,Aftermathfeatures a second Kombat Pack. While not nearly as big as past character packs,Aftermathbrings back Sheeva as well as Fujin, a character last made playable 14 years ago inMortal Kombat Armageddon. The final addition to this set is the guest character RoboCop, a classic action movie figure that brings plenty of references and tools fans would expect like his giant mech ED-209.

As one would expect, each of these characters has access to two fatalities, though upon first turning onMortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, only the first of these will be visible while the second will remain hidden until performed. Each of them can be unlocked officially by completing their first set of character towers in the Towers of Time, though this isn’t necessary to do first in order to perform them.
