In September 2017, after five successful seasons, the Gaineses announcedFixer Upperwould concludeso they could focus on family and business. Shark Tankseason 17 will also introduce other guest sharks, such as Poppi’s Allison Ellsworth, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, designer Kendra Scott, Uncle Nearest CEO Fawn Weaver, and venture capitalist Rashaun Williams, joining the tank with fresh expertise and investment insight. Rashaun and Kendra are returning to the tank, having previously appeared as guest Sharks in Season 16.
Daniel Lubetzky, who previously appeared as a guest shark, is replacing Markas a permanent shark.
