Halo Infinitemay retain many of the franchise’s key themes and gameplay mechanics, but there’s one big factor this time around that completely changes up the formula, and that’sHalo Infinite’s open-world. Instead of going through linear mission after linear mission, Halo players are able to now freely explore the world and do side objectives, such as taking over enemy-controlled areas, which are called FOBs.
Once a player takes control over one of the many FOBs around the map, they will be able to not only fast travel to it from any location but also, nearby Banished and UNSC activitywill appear on the map, too. Players can use FOBs to call in unlocked vehicles and weapons, as long as players have Valor to spend. For players that would like to knowhow to fast travel inHalo Infinite, here are the details.

How to Fast Travel
Fast Travel inHalo Infinitewill not be unlocked at the very start of the game. Once players complete the early missions, they will eventually end up in theopen-world of Zeta Halo. And after taking over a second location on the map, players will see on the bottom right hand corner of the map screen that Fast Travel is now online.
Halo Infiniteplayers can only fast travel to locations that they’ve taken over, and here’s how they can easily do it:
SinceHalo Infiniteis a pretty massive game, there’s a lot to see and do, so players would definitely try to take over as many enemy-controlled locations as they can, so they can use them as fast travel and supply points forMaster Chief. Being able to go from point to point in a quick manner will prove to be useful for players trying to collectHalo Infinite’s collectibles, likethe Spartan Cores, which can be used in the upgrade menu to improve players' abilities, like the Grappleshot and energy shield.
Halo Infiniteis available via Game Pass for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
