A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed more details about a new five-star weapon which is expected to arrive in the upcoming version 3.6. Developer HoYoverse already confirmed that two Dendro characters, Kaveh and Baizhu, are scheduled to arrive in the next update.
Baizhu will be a new five-starGenshin Impactcharacter while Kaveh will have a lower rarity which led many players to believe that they could appear on the same banner cycle. This would allow Travelers to add both characters to their playable roster by spending Primogems on just one banner.

Baizhu has been one of the most anticipated characters inGenshin Impactand his first appearance was back in Liyue’s main quest line. Back then, he was the only character to appear in the game equipped with a Dendro Vision. Story-wise, there is not a lot ofinformation about Baizhuother than that he’s the proud owner of the Bubu Pharmacy located in Liyue Harbor. A new post on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit has revealed a new five-star catalyst named Jadefall’s Splendor that will have the following stats:
This catalyst will serve as the signature weapon for thenew five-star Dendro character Baizhu. There is still no information about his exact release date, but over the last couple of updates, HoYoverse has introduced a pattern of adding new characters to the roster in the first banner cycle which, going by their usual update schedule, should drop around mid-April.
According to another set of leaks,Baizhu’s Elemental Skill will allow his pet snake Changsheng to attackup to three different times and recover some of Baizhu’s HP. Just like most healers in the game, it seems like Baizhu’s whole kit will scale with HP which is why the secondary stat on the new weapon provides almost 50% bonus health.
His Elemental Burst will apparently create a very powerful shield that also deals coordinated damage. His burst also has the potential to increase the party’s potential to deal elemental damage which makes him a veryflexibleGenshin Impactsupport.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
